i try not to spend more than $50 on anything else...

oh so many things..............If something is quality & I think it will last more than 1 season I will spend.
The one thing I hate spending so much $$ on though is jeans.

*most* of the time, i can find what i want for $50 or less.

-Love coats! My last one that I bought was almost $500.
-I'll spend more than $75 on jeans because they last a long time.
-Sunglasses.
-Dress pants. A nicely made and well fitting pair of dress pants is well worth the $$.

Unfortunately, same with me. I find I look for what I like first and then look at price tag only after I've decided I like it. Then, I make the decision. Let me tell you...that is NOT the way to shop if you plan on having savings

I agree w/ your list and then i would add jeans to the mix. But for shirts.... NO WAY!! Oh ofcourse a nice suit or dress for a formal affair.
And i would def spend over $75 for a great fitting pair of pants for work

thats why you dont pay full price
you have to shop sales , look for online coupon codes or hit up the outlets
i NEVER pay full price.
i shop at marshalls and tj maxx....i pick up michael kors shirts there, theory tops and bcbg all for great prices..

I almost never pay full price either. I refuse to, because I know I'll see that item on sale in a couple of months (and it ticks me off in the worst way when I pay full price and then I see it on sale!!!)
I'm always scouring the J.Crew, Banana, Ann Taylor, etc. websites for sales.....
