What kind of apples are good for baking?
I have a bunch of Golden Delicious that are starting to go bad. OK to use?

I think Granny Smith's are supposed to be the best because they don't mush. But I have used Macintosh before, so I would think you can use Golden Delicious too.

They are specifically for baking.
They sell the best ones at Uncle Guiseppe's in Smithtown!!!
They have another location in East Meadow.
