What kind of dog to adopt?
My sister-in-law is looking to get a dog for her family. She has 3 kids, ages 4 to 9 so she needs a kid friendly dog. She lives in an apartment so doesn't want a big dog....any suggestions? I am a cat person and don't know the first thing about dogs

A Pug...my vet says that they are the perfect dogs for kids...my 11 month old hugs and kisses his two Puggies and they do not so much as flinch...

How bout a cavelier kind charles? I hear they are mellow dogs with great dispositions and not very large. Also I personally think they are adorable!

Havanese as well...not sure you can find one at a shelter though....
