This is a great show. I am hooked.
I love David. I think his name is David. The young guy with the great bod who did the orange room. I also like Alice. Everyone else is so-so.

I vote for David too. I think Alice is good too, but needs to be a little more creative - she's too safe IMO.

davids room was fricking awesome!
twins were not that talented imho
when they had a good project, it was usually with someone elses help
i am so sick of Temple though....when she wrote those "notes" to them....i lost it- i mean, how immature!
i also think donna was talented, but lazy...but she could have been very good....its not like designers are contractors- so i think its a little silly to expect them to do all that hard work

My parents' next door neighbors' house was on one of the first episodes. It was a big tutor. It had a horrible castle-like mural in the master bedroom. After they did the show, they raised the price of the house 300,000 to 2.3 million. This is absolutely ridiculous because with the exception of the bedroom the contestants barely improved the house. It is still listed on MLSLI under Old Brookville if you want to see it.

I totally agree. I think he really pushed Timber (9?) to make a a bad decision about the cabinets. I think it would take less time to demo the old ones and hang new ones rather than refinish the old ones!
although in the end (after HGTV sent in their crew) the kitchen looked great, but they didn't get what they wanted (although they were very happy)
David is the man!

HONESTLY, I LIKED HER ROOM THE BEST....
i think they were way hard on her
shes not my fave person, but i do like her taste
i thought tym's green room was horrible
and i was not that impressed with davids much, either

I thought Tym should have went home instead of Temple. None of his rooms ever stand out not that hers do but I think they are more put together. I think it is going to between Alice and David.

I could not have lived in a Tiffany box blue studio. It would drive me crazy - I don't know why they were all crazy with it.
I loved David's look, but not his layout.
Tym was awful, but Temple wasn't great - and angling everything bothers me too
