Patio Furniture
Wow the prices are alot more than I thought! I love the teak sets but they are all at least $1200. I wouldn't mind aluminum either... anyone have any tips on where to get a deal?

Can you wait till after July 4th? Thats when they start going on sale. Zeckendorf Fortunoff usually has good sales. Scott

Re: Patio Furniture
We got our teak set from Costco back in 2001. Yes, it was close to $1000, but so worth it. Here it is from a few summer ago so you get the idea. THe table is big, its 9-feet long.

I got the same one last year! I also got the lounge chair.
I think sears and costco/bj's have reasonable prices.

Target four ours...was about $500. It's round and wrought iron looking but aluminum.
Re-doing our patio this year-maybe we'll get some teak.

Oh, I like that! (and your lawn is way better than ours - it's so dry here in CO that we have straw for grass!)

Re: Patio Furniture
We bought ours 2 years ago (end of summer) from Kmart for under $200...it's a nice set, but just not the one I love, and we looked into the teak ones at Home Depot and they're soooo expensive, but we may give in and hopefully catch them on sale at the end of the season.

Re: Patio Furniture
I heard you can get really nice ones at a garage sale, they also have toys and stuff.I usually bike around town and see what treasures are out there, and go back with the car if it doesn't fit in my baskests. GOOD LUCK!

Re: Patio Furniture
I wanted to go this weekend to get some more patio furniture. I have a table and chairs that are good for now - but since we just had our patio done I want some sort of couch/sitting area. Has anyone seen this at any of the places?
TIA

BJs/Costco/Kmart/Fortunoff/Target...they all carry sitting area/conversation furniture. Of course those items tend to cost more.

Re: Patio Furniture
If you need to get one before summer....I would try BJs early. They have great sets usually under $700. Go anywhere after Memorial Day and it's hard to find an available set.
Me and DH got our set in August last year at the Fortuneoff Discount Center in Garden City (by Lowes) it was marked down from $1500 to $700. We had to take it ourselves. However, this season they have it advertised again for $1600.
