Curly girls...

With all this talk about straightening lately, I was just wondering, do any of you wear it curly?!?

I do and I almost never straighten it, unless I'm getting a cut. I do like mine straight and LOVE how all the girls' hair came out, but would never consider permanent straighening myself (I don't think Chat Icon.

Anyway curlies, anyone with me or am I the last one standing with curly hair?

Re: Curly girls...

I also have curly hair.. it's not curly the way it used to be though... I cut it this year and there was just frizz and wave left.. my hair has changed a lot! I did a relaxer which isn't permanent, but really helped me style my hair much easier!! I would def recommend that Chat Icon

Either way, I think it depends on what you're looking for too!! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Since cutting mine short a few months ago, I could double as Little Orphan Annie's old blonde aunt! Chat Icon My hair is shorter than chin length and super-curly.

I just can't fight the humidity- it's really a little too cutesy, as far as style goes, but it's not that bad. Trying to keep it even just wavy is a huge pain.

Re: Curly girls...

I'm very lucky - I was blessed w/ versatile hair. I wear it straight most often, but this past week I've had it curly. Sometimes I pull on it so they curl comes out a bit and its just wavy. Its just so much EASIER!

I wear mine curly..but just bought a flatiron, so that I can straighten it on occasion to change it up a bit.
I don't think I would ever permanently straighten it.

I can wear it both, but come the hot humid weather, curly hair is most prevalent, like today. I just put some gel in it and I'm letting it air dry.

i love the way everyone's hair has come out with the JHS.. but i dontknow if i would want mine permanently straight. Sometime i love when i've got the crazy curly thing gong on (so does DH- he says he loves my hair when its "wildin' out" Chat Icon )

but.... i just hate all the FRIZZ that comes along with it Chat Icon

Nope - majorly naturally curly haired girl here!!! And I am not going anywhere. True I do like what it looks like when its straightened, I would never do it permanently. The only time I get it done is when I get a hair cut cause its already built in the price.

Re: Curly girls...

Curly girl here too! I had it straightened ONCE and my family said "WHAT DID YOU DO?!?!!"Chat Icon You would have though I murdered someone!
I LOVE my curls and wouldn't have it any other way. It was VERY hard trying to find someone who would do my hair for the wedding. Most people have NO clue what do to with curly hair.Chat Icon I actually styled my hair the way I do everyday and had the girl pin it up.

It's sooo good to know I'm not the only one.Chat Icon

Same with me. My MIL gave me some great hair products and now my hair is so curly and so healthy looking it looks like it was professionlly done everyday. I love this stuff she got me. It's by Ojan (I think thats it).

I straighten it once in a while. I have a great ceramic straightner and when I straighten it, it will last about 3 days and the kinks start rolling in. But my curls are not going anywhere.

Re: Curly girls...

It's funny, when I was younger, I wanted straight hair in THE WORST way....but the older I got, the more I began to love my hair! I love how the striaght hair looks on me, but I am too chicken to do the JHS. I get it blown out every once in a great moon, but I love my curly hair!Chat Icon

Re: Curly girls...

My hair used to have nice spiraly curls. But since chopping it short years ago, it grew back not as neatly curled. Mostly sort of weird waves. I do sometimes wear it curly and sometimes, it even looks kinda good - which is the why I am so wishy washy on the JHS. I like to be able to have something different. But, since it only happens once in a while, I mostly wear it straight. In the winter, it's not usually such a problem, but in the humidity, I keep thinking how nice it would be to do my hair and have it stay that way all day.

Re: Curly girls...

I leave it curly...it is so much easier and now with the hot weather coming...it is too hat to sit under the hair dryer and straighten it

Re: Curly girls...

As a teenager I used to straighten my hair all the time and I did so much damage to it. I've now come to accept curls and embrace them and I always wear it curly!

Re: Curly girls...

I got my hair straightened this week and as much as I like as of right now and glad I tried it I dont think I will do it again. I definitly appreciate that I found out about an inexpensive place to get it done from the girls on this site when I hear that others paid like 4x as much!
