Beautiful house. Farmington is a great area and is a great school district. Plus you'll be right near the mall, which is never a bad thing.  Good luck.
What were the other towns you were considering?
We were considering Avon, Farmington, Simsbury, Burlington...and Southington because my DH works there.
We also LOVE Essex but we can get a LOT more house for the $$ elsewhere. We neeeeeeed a bigger house.
Do you live in CT??
Yes, DH and I live in Fairfield County right now. We hope to move back to the Hartford area within the next few months. There are great areas up there and it's so much more affordable than Fairfield County.
I LOVE Avon and Simsbury, especially Avon. I'm obsessed with looking at listings in those areas.
