I am not ashamed to say that I love it!! I go once a year!!
I love White Castle, go more than once a year (way more when I lived close to one in Queens) and I have never had it with any connection to drinking!!!
It was the one fast food we had when I was growing up!!!! My cousins would come over and we'd get like 50 hamburgers and 25 cheeseburgers!!! Great memories!!!
I remember when you used to get a little cardboard number when you ordered ...

Back when I was single and spent my paycheck going out -- 2 burgers and fries for $1.50 was the perfect solution for dinner! I still get them once in a while.

My DH's family has a New Years Day tradition of White Castle!! The 1st year we were dating I had white castle for the 1st time and it was NOT a pleasent experience to say the least!!!
My DH eats it probably 2-3 times per year and always regrets it the next day!! But that doesn't stop him!

Back in my college days, we used to eat them every weekend around 3am after being at the bars. Ahhh, the memories....
I wouldn't say you are missing out though. I haven't had one in years.

I used to eat it when I was younger, but I haven't eatne there in 20+ years! DH on the other hand, I know he gets it every now and then because there is one right near where he works in Bayside.
