House looks wonderful
I understand where you're coming from with building and a wedding. We signed our papers for construction 2 months before the wedding. While on our HM we even got phone calls from the builder that we had to sign over the papers for the deed of the land and take care of a few things so the permits could get pulled.
Our house is not a modular and then we got hit with 4 hurricanes (we're in FL) so we ran into a concrete shortage (the house is cinderblock), then a wood shortage (the roof) and the best a worker shortage. Took 1 year for the house to get built 
Pics look great. Cant wait to see more

Thanks everyone! I will definitely keep the pictures coming. The house comes on september 7th so i'll have tons of pics of them putting it together!
Skygirl... the modular company i'm using is called Quality Crafted Homes/Primeline Modular Homes. They are located in Southampton and their office phone number is 631-726-9300. If you call, our builders name is Steve Graboski.
I will say that modulars are such great houses and they've come a long way. Now a days, you can't even tell that some of them are modulars. They really are built very well. The picture of the house i posted... we went to see the inside of that house (we know the people who own it). According to this couple, they are insulated extremely well, heated well, and they're quiet. If someone is on the top floor... you wouldn't even be able to hear them downstairs. Plus one major pro with modulars is that they take half the time to build and they typically cost less than stick built houses.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I'm an open book! Oh... we went through Chevy Chase bank for the construction loan.

Here's the foundation since it's been backfilled. The house comes THURSDAY!!! So i'll post more then...
There's the porta-potty that they stuck right in the front of our property. That way any UPS or mail man can use it too! 
YAY!!! I'll have more on thursday!!!

That is fantastic! Well done you and congratulations!!!
There is a fantastic company in Germany that makes modular homes and its a bit of a fantasy of mine to live in one. One has gone up near my IL's house in Buckinghamshire and its really fantastic.

the fireplace is going in between these windows...
the kitchen with an island in the middle...
