No news yet. I went to the shelter after work yesterday and I almost had a heart attack right in the kennel. As I was walking down I saw my dog, except it was a male so it wasnt my dog at all. I have never seen another dog that looked EXACTLY like her. Im ashamed to say it but I made the guy go in there and look under its legs just to make sure it was a male He looked at me like I was crazy but Hey I cant afford to be shy when it comes to trying to find my dog lol!

Me too. I even asked someone on the pregnancy forum who was talking about a dog they found. ("Tell me I am crazy"). No reponse yet.

Thanks guys! No word on Mid yet but I did get in touch with a woman named Risa. She is apart or is the German Shepard Rescue org for Suffolk, She handles a bunch of towns, I think from Riverhead to Islip. She has Mids info and seems to be very hopeful that I will find her. She also does NOT believe someone has her. I described Mids personality and she came up with that Mid had fear aggression, which is true, so there is no way someone will get her to come in their house. She thinks that Midnite is in the woods and is scared. She also told me that she tracked a German Shep who was the same way as Mid for 7 months until they were finally able to trap him. So I am hopeful that she will find her!
They told me to leave food out but I live on a fairly busy road and there are like a bazillion cats across the street so I am not very comfortable leaving food out and god forbid one get hit. People do 100 down my road, a dog was just killed a month ago becasue of it, so I may pass on the leaving the food out. Instead I think I will leave a pair of his dirty socks outside, she said the scent of him will help. So we shall see I guess!
