I hope that nobody threw out my favors. They were picture frames with Jared's pic inside.
Ohhhh...thats a great idea....did you put a pic of him in his christening outfit or just a regular outfit? I love this idea. Plus since we are only having family...its a great idea.
Danielle...
Here's a pic:

Re: Are Christening Favors REALLY Necessary?
I have receivd favors at a christening.. the only reason we will be giving them out is because my shower was cancelled and we have them left over..

Re: Are Christening Favors REALLY Necessary?
I agree about the $$$. We went to a Christening yesterday that clearly cost more than our wedding
We are having a small party for only family, and will not be giving favors. IMO, I don't think they are necessary at all.

Re: Are Christening Favors REALLY Necessary?
I don't think they are necessary. We gave them out at the Christening but that was because we came up with an inexpensive one. We got the Lindt chocolate balls, put 3 in a wrap and printed out tags on our own. It cost less than $2 a favor and everyone loved getting chocolate at the end. They were lining up to get them.

I kept it simple...I bought some Cross Lolli Pop molds...and made White, Blue Chocolate Lolli Pops.

Re: Are Christening Favors REALLY Necessary?
I don't ever remember getting a favor at a Christening, so I would say not necessary.

I did the chocolate lollipop crosses because I only like edible favors. It did feel somewhat sacrilegious though.

I did chocolate chip cookies with Justin's picture on the icing. They were yummy but not necessary!

Re: Are Christening Favors REALLY Necessary?
We went to walmart and got votive vases for $1 each and then went to price club and bought roses. I forgot the price, but the sell them 2 dozen at a time and they were cheap. So we put 2 roses in the vase and put ribbon around he vase. It ended up really pretty and cheap.
