Re: Anyone have a DH who is not a "card" person?
funny, bc I am a total card person and he is not...in fact, our first married Christmas we had a huge fight bc he did not get me a card and I wanted a keepsake "first married Christmas" card....last year he got me one and this year he didn't and I just laughed!

Re: Anyone have a DH who is not a "card" person?
I used to get lots of cards from DH when we were young, but the funny thing is, they're all make-up cards. I recently found a bunch of them at my moms house and every one has an apology!

Re: Anyone have a DH who is not a "card" person?
DH hates cards but after our first Christmas together he learned FAST how I love them, so he gets them. This year was hysterical. He started asking me if I wanted my card like on Dec 22nd! And then finally on Christmas Eve said to open it, and it was mushy and he picked it out all by himself.
Most years he writes inside..." I never know what to write" ...LMAO!

He always used to get them, not usually his thing, now he almost always forgets to buy them. The up-side is that I am going to stop getting them for him and we shall see how he likes it!

Re: Anyone have a DH who is not a "card" person?
I found out (not through him) that he didn't used to be but his ex-wife used to really FREAK if she didn't get a card. She was such a card person that she saved everyone that she ever got from everyone... my SIL said she had two crates of them.
So he never forgets the card He probably thinks I'll have the same reaction.

Re: Anyone have a DH who is not a "card" person?
I never get a card
This year, I actually cried because he's had 8 months to buy me a FIANCEE card, and hasn't even attempted!!! (Even after I told him that's all I wanted for Christmas )

Re: Anyone have a DH who is not a "card" person?
My DH is a huge card guy. He loves to buy them, not just for me, but for his friends and family members. I like getting them, but I wouldn't get that upset if he forgot, as long as he did something else for a birthday, anniversary, or Christmas like a gift or a nice dinner out or whatever.
