Mom and Dad moved from Mineola to AZ..it cost about $3K-6 yrs ago. They also shipped their car...that cost about $2500. Apt to apt
I can ask them the name again..I don't remember. Everything came ok and the car was fine. They had a good experience but movers just s u c k in general.
if you can get me the name, that would be great
just based on the fact that nothing was broken makes them good.
I'll see if they still have the info. It all depends on the actual people doing the driving and moving for your experience. We used one company twice to move and the first time was great, the second time (different mover people) was not so good. It took them too long, they were lazy..we ended up moving a lot of stuff ourselves off their truck just to get it doen and still had to pay them.

we moved ourselves with Budget...1700.00 omg why?
ughhh...kind of last minute notice. We were only suppose to rent a trailer and use BIL's truck, he backed out and we only had a week to shop around.
Truck rentals are expensive since hardly anyone moves to NY. We rented a truck FL to NY once and it was 400.00. For one way rentals, if you drive it from NY, the trucks have a hard time finding their way back up to NY. very intersting... makes sense.

We used Mayflower (molloy Bros) to move to NC and they were really good. All that broke was my little fan. I can't remember the exact cost but it was around 1700 or so I think. That was for an entire apt. I do know it was cheaper to hire someone to do it for us than it was for a Budget or U-Haul truck. I was told this is b/c so many people are heading south and the trucks have no way of getting back up north unless they send someone for them.

We are moving in Jan/Feb and we are doing it ourselves and it will cost us about 1500 with gas and everything, through Penske. We are moving from NY to AL.
