It's weird, but I think I freaked out more when turning 29 than turning 30. I think there was so much anticipation and dread in that last year of my 20's (knowing that my 20's were almost over), that when 30 finally got here - it was not even close to being as big a deal as I thought it would be!
This was definately true for me too. My 30th my former fiance was in the hospital so my best friend took me out to dinner then we got ice cream cake & snuck up to the hospital after visiting hours to see him.

I am starting to freak out a little bit...I will be 29 in August....my FI freaked out about turning 30....we cannot even say the number without he getting upset

I kind of freaked out at 29 (just turned it in February)...
I started worrying about not having a house or baby yet! But everything else seemed okay with me.
Now I am over it, we will see what happens when I turn 30!
