Ok - I picked Onyx - not cause it should match the car but for 2 reasons. One it is the one I picked for my daughter and I think it would look less dirty when they start eating and stuff in it. Where the lighter colors you would see the dirt quicker. I don't know - that is my opinions.

Re: Vote on car seat pattern for Lauren's new Marathon...
I voted for the first one since this the one we really wanted for Emily.
My parents got her the Platnum, which is similar to onyx (I can post a pic) and overall I'm glad I have it because it is a dark color so will not show stains as much, and we can use it for our next child reguardless of whether it's a boy or a girl.
However I don't know if you guys are done -- if you're done and she is your last, I'd go for the girly carseat!

Re: Vote on car seat pattern for Lauren's new Marathon...
hmmm all the girlie ones are gorgeous, but Id go for the darkest pink since (Dragonfly) it might be harder to get dirty once she starts snacking in the car

Re: Vote on car seat pattern for Lauren's new Marathon...
Thanks! I'm really liking the dragonfly, I don't know why??? Plus I found it online for only $229 with no tax or shipping (they go for $269-285 in stores!).
They sell just the covers too, so IF we did have another child, I could always just buy the cover. Andrew's still looks brand new. I have washed it a few times, plus I am anal, I try not and let them snack in the car so everything stays clean.... But I know that's impossible to do.

If I had a girl, I would probably go with the Ashley Floral. But, if you are concerned with cleanliness but still want to go girly the Dragon Fly(which I think matchs better with your sons!) might be a bit better in that regard. Although you husband does make sense I'd go girly!

Re: Vote on car seat pattern for Lauren's new Marathon...
Have you seen the Onyx in person? I was planning to buy the Boulevard in Onyx until I saw it in a store. It was a very easy to clean plasticky material, but not very cozy. I opted for a different pattern that felt more velvety. Not sure if its the same for the Marathon!

Re: Vote on car seat pattern for Lauren's new Marathon...
I voted for the onyx as that is the one we just got....this whole ordeal of choosing a car seat was a nightmare...my DH thought I was nuts as I kept going over and back....funny he liked the dragonfly but I chose the onyx as I wanted it to match the car!!We got it and love it...the material is soft not plastic and I think I would get tired of looking at the colored ones...
Good luck!

Re: Vote on car seat pattern for Lauren's new Marathon...
I like the Dragonfly...nice color and will withstand some of the dirt in the event that it gets dirty. So it's totally cute and so girlie.

Re: Vote on car seat pattern for Lauren's new Marathon...
Get her a girly print!!! I have the Ashley for T and I love it. The colors are so pretty with the yellow background, although the pinks are cute too, my vote is for the same one I have. @ it matching the interior.
ETA: I just read all the replies about the lighter ones getting dirty. It doesnt get that dirty and its not like shes a neat car snacker (at all!!)
