I've been looking for an interfaith pendant to wear. I just don't know if people are going to be up in arms over it, and I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it

ETA: This one is made in israel. it's silver

Truthfully, it does bother me a bit, but if you are comfortable with it then that is what counts, right?

they have all white gold ones too. I'm not sure which one I'm going to get. I just figured this one stood out more what it is.

I think I have to ask a question first...

What are you trying to say by wearing it?

To represent my interfaith family, and the unity between 2 faiths in my life.

It's very personal, but after teh way i was treated by some people in college, I'm just wondering how other people will react. It's not that I want to please everyone. Just more like, If I cna anticipate the response I can have an answer ready.

Does anyone know of another interfiath pendant?

Nothing wrong with it at all. If people have a problem with it, thats THEIR problem, not yours.

No.. I'm not bothered by her beliefs... it's just that personally I have a hard time seeing how the two faiths can be so "inter" since their individual beliefs are so far apart. But don't want to start a whole religious debate here.

I would assume that was a Jews for Jesus pendant.

I like white gold also. Chat Icon

I found a white gold one, but it has INRI engraved on the star of david, and I didn't like that. I felt that made more of a statement than I want to make.

It wouldn't offend me. Actually I'd find it interesting and maybe even ask you about it if I met you somewhere.

I'm sort of worried about that too, especially given a lot of people's feelings about the proseletyzing nature for the JFJ movement. I am against proseltyzing of all kinds. Also, some people believe that the JFJ movement is a completely fake movement, not based on belife, but based on "tricking" Jews into switching to christianity. I don't want to be associated with that

Religion is a very personal thing. I don't think you'd be offending anyone.

I see nothing wrong with it...and don't really know why it would offend anyone...and you shouldn't be worried about what OTHER people would think about it anyhow...

It's your life and your beliefs!
