Re: Things People Never Told You ABout being Pregnant...
Posted by BabyMakesThree
I'm only 10 1/2 weeks but here is what I have learned so far that no one told me.
That I wouldn't fit in any of my old pants as early as 9 weeks. (Haven't gained weight either)
That you have to pee 100 times a day and most of the time some gas escapes at the same time. So much fun at the office..
That you would yearn for the days when you could poop normally.
That I would increase an entire bra size by 8 weeks.
That I would find it difficult to stay up past 8:30 pm on week nights.
OMG LOL I am 8 weeks and I am exactly you but add head aches.

That people would give the worst advice and not censor their comments whatsoever!
I wasn't prepared for people staring and analyzing how I looked and how big my BOOBS were getting as well as my stomach.

No one ever mentioned that your hooha would become so "meaty". I swear this better shrink back to normal after the baby comes I'm scared of it right now !!

That it would feel like my ribs and/or hips would feel like they are being ripped apart on a daily basis.
That anything other than laying around is a hassel.
That I can only get out of the house for an hour before i'm ready for a nap.
That I would be saving up my pennies for plastic surgery before the baby even comes out.

Re: Things People Never Told You ABout being Pregnant...
At only 11w5d this is what I learned so far.....
Telling DH I need a cold pop and can't get up because I am making fingernails, and i'm exhausted from it..ACTUALLY works
That my boobs would get SO much bigger so fast and hurt for no reason whenever
That maternity clothes s*ck if you're short....shirts mine as well be dresses when you're only 5'2", and "capris" are normal pants
The dizziness and vomiting. I can't blow my nose without throwing up, and I pee everytime I throwup. It's so gross. The dizziness is horrible and comes and goes henever for no reason.
Most of all how fragile my partners at work think I am. They won't let me do any lifting or bending, driving or anything they can do, and as a Paramedic that's frustrating. Nice, but I have to say Look i'm pregnant not dying I can REALLY start that IV on my own or I can intubate just fine. I appreciate it, but on critical calls I really just want to do my thing. And forget about a shooting...my partners and the cops make me wait in the back just incase something happens I have been doing this for 7yrs and I'm not stopping now!
