What is the slumber bear?
Invented by a doctor, and effectively used in hospital nurseries for over 25 years! The Original Slumber Bear contains the ONLY actual intra-uterine, recorded womb sound to help lull your Baby to sleep in minutes! Each Original Slumber Bear also arrives with its own Silkie! Parents can bond with Baby by keeping Silkie close to their skin, transferring their scent to the blanket. The Slumber Bear sound and motion sensors re-activate recording when Baby cries or jostles bear. Additional hook and loop straps allow you to secure the removable audio box to crib rails, strollers and more!
** puts him to sleep almost every time

So now that 2 months have gone by here are some more things:
1. The Angelcare Monitor that I use in combo with the video monitor.
2. Dreft
3. plastic bibs not cloth!!!!!
4. cd player with classical music.
5. A zillion burp clothes
6. the breathable bumper and breathable crib sheet with snaps (greatest invention ever. you don't have to lift the mattress to change the sheet)

Re: Things we can't live without thread for PG girls...
I see there are a lot of new preggos, so I thought I would bump this.
Here is what I can not live without:
1. Steven LOVES napping in his swing.
2. He loves to kick his legs and make this rock
3. This is the bouncer I have at my moms. he loves to sit and play in it.
**I also have the rainforest swing at my moms and I recommend this whole collection. He loves the music and the animals.**
4. This is his favorite toy. Now that he kicks so much he loves to lay on the floor and kick to make it play.
Of course bottles, LOTS of burp cloths (I use cloth diapers), lots of bibs, etc.
I also highly recommend this. he loves falling asleep to it and it also buys me an extra hour in the morning when he starts fussing, but is not quite waking up yet. he falls right back to sleep.
Also, Steven loves watching the lights on the celing and the birds go around. This is great for calming him down before starting our bedtime routine.
I'm sure there are other things I use on a daily basis, but these are the things he really seems to respond to.
Good luck!
