Spinoff to wedding dress
Do you watch your wedding video? I haven't since we got it. I loved my wedding and would love to re-live the memories, but I hate watching myself on camera. Anyone else this way?

I usually watch the first 15 minutes for the "recap." I probably do that about once a year. I tell DH we have to watch in on our anniversary and he says "why? we were there!" PITA, he is...

We watched it A LOT when we first got it. We kept having people over to see it. I haven't watched it in a few months, but plan to watch it on my anniversary.
I thought I was going to HATE watching myself on the video, but it really wasn't bad at all.

I guess I'll like mine more as I get used to watching myself. But I love how they caught on camera me saying "those aren't my flowers" as I was walking down the aisle  I guess at least my video has personality!

We only got our edited video about 6 months ago, so yes we have watched it quite a bit, plus have shown the recap to our friends and family. Our recap is more of a rock video style and we are really happy we ended up getting a video. After this year I will probably watch it on our anniversary.

Because of DH's accident he doesn't remember much of the wedding, so we do watch it occasionally.

Same here.
We did have my 13 year old (at the time) nephew video record the ceremony and some of the reception, but it's on VHS and we only have DVD, so we haven't seen it in a long time...maybe 3 years!

We watched ours probably 100x in the first few months after we got it.
Now we only watch it if we're showing it to someone who has never seen it.
I LOVE watching our video!

I find myself watching our Recap a lot especially since it is on line. The actual video we watched a few times as well but only when people came over.

We haven't received ours yet (wedding was 5 weeks ago), but I hate watching myself on video! I love pictures and looking at them, but I hate seeing the expressions I make, how I speak, etc.
We have a video that a family friend shot and have watched a couple of times and it wasn't that bad watching myself, so I hope I'll be ok watching the pro wedding video b/c I really want to relive the day and see what we missed.

We never got one. We did have a couple of people videotape for us and give us the raw footage, but we never sat down to watch the footage.
It's my project for next year to make a video out of it on our Christmas gift... a Macbook Pro.
