We have had one the past several years & LOVE it! We do direct deposit & sometimes throw some extra into it. I sometimes have most of the shopping done by the time we get the check but it just goes back into the bank to cover the bills.

I'm definitely going to get my direct deposit to go into it. I'm glad I opened it up because it's one less thing to stress about around the holidays. Neither of us work jobs that get bonuses for the holidays, so this will be it for us! I'm actually excited about it now. I'm such a nerd!

great idea rachel. i always wanted to do this but never did and always struggle during the holidays for extra cash.. you have inspired me to open one of my own!!!
