Re: suggestions for dining room paint color
Do you want to do a two tone paint scheme?
I would say with cherry Furniture....
A Dark Red. if you want to do a bold color.
Sage green
Warm Beige. - Medium.....beige
Mustard gold. - Cant think of the color...
Maybe do a neutral color and do one accent wall a different color.
Can you post a pic of the room?
What color is the floor? Scott

Re: suggestions for dining room paint color
I dont think it will make the room to small, if you do white for the ceiling and moulding. Also if you do a two tone scheme, it would not be as dark.
Like do white on the bottom.....or Taupe.
We did Behr Velvety Merlot on top. White Chair Rail and then Taupe on the bottom.
Is there a lot of sunlight in the dining room? Scott

Re: suggestions for dining room paint color
What about a pumkin (dark orange) bottom and Beige top?? Or two walls beige and one or two eggshell or something else. It all sounds good in my head.

Re: suggestions for dining room paint color
Love your DR set. You could use any color you want with it. What color are the other rooms in your home? Is there a room or that opens up to the DR that you want to blend with? Do you have any accessories or items going in the room that you could pull color from - pictures, area rug, drapes. If you are starting with nothing but the furniture I suggest you take a look for a area rug (if you plan to use one) of drapes and start from there. Paint can match anythign. I always find it easier to start with something other than wall color. If all else fails - whats your favorite color?

Re: suggestions for dining room paint color
We have BM Nantucket Grey, which is really sage, in our family room. I would paint every room in my house that color, if I didn't like some constrast. Check it out.
