Thanks for all the concern. I didn't mean to start anything, I just want to try to get the date rebooked.
We're still getting married, just not now. Too many problems personal and financial to do it right now. Most of you know some of what's been going on....but it's just been one thing after another, and it's clear that now is not the right time to get married. As some of you know it's been a long road with a lot of back and forth about postponing. Financially, yeah, we could scale it back and take out some loans and do it in 6 mos, but it's more than that.
I still love my FH, he still loves me. That's what's important!
And we're trying to figure out if we can work everything out by May 2008, because the Sunday Night of Memorial Day weekend is open, and that would be good b/c it's cheaper than a saturday, and it's not shabbat obviously and people have off the next day. So we've got some talking, thinking and budgeting to do. Let's hope THAT date doesn't get booked.

ETA: I know we're supposed to be saving money for a new date in the future (esp since we might be out $5K), but I think we deserve a vacation!

I am glad that everything is okay.
We had the problem of funding everything when we got married and just decided to do a much smaller wedding.
I hope everything works out for you in the long run.

You may want to post on craigslist too. A lot of corporations look to do holiday parties during this time - you have an ideal date for it. I'm sure it will get booked.

I always lurk here. But someone else went thru this on this board, and they got there money back. Call the BBB. I did it when my daughter called off her wedding in Sufflok county. There they could not keep the money at all I beleibe only 100.00. Check it out. Best wishes all goes well for you
