Our queen is a Stearns & Foster which rated pretty well when I was doing the research...

I'd love to try one of those number matresses that each side has it's own number system so one side could be firm and the other soft. It adjusts to your liking.

Me too! The sleep number beds look awesome, but they are like $4000 for a king sized.

Re: Let's talk mattresses!
I had a Sterns and Foster pillowtop which I thought was one of the best. It wasn't, sooo we got a Kingcoil pillowtop with a foamy layer (tempra peudic or something like that) The one that's supposed to mold to your body. I luv it!

I have a sleep number and I ADORE IT. Its perfect for DH and I because we really do like our mattresses VERY different. I am a number 85 (out of 100) and he is a 45 (which I think is a huge difference. I change mine when my back hurts from my period or what not. I highly recommend them.

Re: Let's talk mattresses!
We tried the sleep number, personally we didn't like it, however my best friend and DH swear by it. It's worth a shot, to try it out, it may be perfect for you. We now have a pillow top, and love it, but could use alittle less softness.

Re: Let's talk mattresses!
i dont' like pillowtop at all, my fh has it, and it's so uncomfortable for my back, he swears pillowtops are number 1 but i tell him that's for people with normal backs. had back surgery years ago and that is not a comfortable bed at all for me. my bed is a beauty rest a bit firmer, works good for me for now. we were told about those ones that contour to your body are great, but what happens when u move in the middle of the night? i would be afraid that after years it would keep that same mold and the mattress wouldn't look normal.

Re: Let's talk mattresses!
We have a special foam mattress, but not the Swedish Tempurpedic one, a different kind. I can check the name. I love this mattress! I would take it with me EVERYWHERE if I could Infact, I've stayed on some really ooh-la-la hotels that claim they have amazing beds, and I still couldn't wait to get home to my own bed. It's really true that when the other person moves on the bed, you don't feel it.

Re: Let's talk mattresses!
Okay, thank you all so much for the feedback. We were going to go with a Sealy Posturpedic Ultra Plush Pillowtop but then we layed down on the Kingsdown and we bought it. May back pain cease to know our address!
