I took my MIL recently and she thought it was going to be a regular dollar store and she was floored when she saw the store!

Dollar General has items that are $1, $2, etc.
Dollar Tree most items are $1.
When Christmas gets here, definatly make sure to go shopping the day after when everything is marked down. I got christmas cling decorations for a quarter. 100 lights for $1. light hangers for outside the house, $1.
I am like a kid in a candy store when it comes to Dollar Tree
