i don't have a middle name per se
my confirmation name is Robert
it actually comes in handy because my father has the same name as me, except that his middle name is James.
We go to the some of the same doctors, the same mechanic, the same pharmacies, and when these places pull records, they sometimes mix us up.
So, I always sign my name Donald R Murphy, and he always signs his name Donald J Murphy, to clear any confusion

My Mother didn't have a middle name. She hated that so she made sure all 6 of us had middle names.

I really dislike my middle name (even though its my Mom's name -sorry Mom) but I am still glad I have one (if that makes sense  ) Its the "D" in the FeliciaDP .. that's all I'm sayin
My maiden name was wayyyyyy too long to make into my middle name, or else I would've considered it..
But no, I don't think its weird to NOT have a middle name... so many people I know don't have one !

I have a middle name & I like it. It is Marie, so although it is fairly common, I was named after my mother Maria ( who doesnt' have a middle name) & I knew a lot of other Heathers so there was a JR, High phase where I made people call me Heather Marie.
As an adult, I like the have the middle initial. I use it in my signature for both personal & professional situations.
And for the record , I don't beleive there are any Ann(e)'s in my family, first or middle!
My girl cousins' middle names are Marie, Lynn & Kay

I don't think it's weird not to have a middle name in that you're not any weirder for it. I do think it's weird that parents don't give their kids middle names. Does that make sense? 
My mom is one of 9; they didn't give only 1 of my aunts a middle name. That's really weird to me, like they had run out of names or something DH's dad doesn't have a middle name and we were just talking about the "why" of it.

She doesn't have a 2 part , as was mentioned above does she?
My MIL calls DH primarily by his middle name & THAT is weird to me. Why not just name him that then.

mine is Christine. I never loved it or hated it. It was just kinda there, if that makes sense. I felt like it never really matched my first name (which I love) and it has no family significance to the best of my knowledge.

My middle name was Rachel, but once I got married I made my maiden name my middle name. I think it is nice and my full name sounded nicely with it, but now it is a mouthful so I dropped it.

No, that's the weirdest part!! She's second youngest and they managed to find 2 names for the youngest (also a girl). And, her name is the plainest of everyone in the family - Ann.
I'm just now remembering that DH's grandpa didn't have a middle name. He used to tell DH that his parents were too poor and couldn't afford one
