Registered Dental Hygienist. Yes it pays well. I love that I am able to work the hours I want and still be home to raise my DD. Like any job it has it's BS but I can't complain  DH is a NYC Union Plumber. Works great hours, makes a very good salary, excellent benefits BUT it's very physical at times and he comes home hurtin

I'm a Credit Risk Analyst for a major Investment Bank - love the pay; love my career....
However, I just started my own business, and hopefully that takes off and I won't have to work for someone else!
DH LOVES his job - works for the NY Mets Organization - advertising sales during the off-season, and he's production/video during the season.

For the past six years I was an account executive selling radio advertising - pay was amazing. In the beginning of the year I quit and am now a real estate agent. I love it so far.
My DH is a 4th grade teacher and runs an afterschool program.

I do commercial traffic for a radio station as well as an assistant to the GM/VP. I love my job. The people I work with are awesome. although it is very high stress the rewards make the job that much better!

I don't know what my official title is, but I sell promotional products (anything w/ a logo on it) to fashion trade- basically- if you see a clutch or t-shirt in a magazine like cosmopolitan that is the type of stuff I do- i also do the marketing for the company as well (it's small- so I wear many hats)
DH is in sales & marketing for a synthetic oil manufacturer- he likes it but i thin it is

I work for a radio advertising company in NYC for almost 4 yrs now.
Do I love it-NO but I don't hate it so much that I can't stand going to work everyday. I am looking for a new job-hopefully soon something will come up. I also don't wanna leave my job now than hate my next job even more..cause I know that the grass isn't always greener on the other side!!!

I am a psychiatric social worker/therapist and work for the state. I love my job but it is demanding and the kids can really break your heart at times. The pay isn't great but it's much better than many other places. Social workers are so underpaid for what we do!
DH does the same and also works for the state but in a different location.

I'm an attorney. I work for a small Connecticut based firm doing corporate law and I love it! The salary is good too.
My DH is a finish carpenter and cabinet maker. He makes almost anything you want out of wood- furniture, cabinets, radiator covers, etc... He really loves what he does.

FT I'm a SAHM. I work PT a few hours a month for an en environmental enginnering consulting firm (my former job and one I hope to go back to someday).
DH and his family own and operate a car and truck dealership.

My DH co-owns a branch of a mortgage company. He is not crazy about it but the $$ is great when it's great. When its bad..it's bad. He likes dealing more with commercial properties than residential

I'm in Insurance. It pays well and I work for a GREAT company with fabulous people. My only MAJOR compliant...if you know me you know my job is soooo NOT ME. Thankfully I have a boss that is working with me to get at least some of my attention focused elsewhere in the company with training, etc. All in all I search other avenues that would suit me much better, but $$$ is a huge factor and the other things I was interested in not only did I have to go back to school, but I also had to take a tremendous paycut. Not worth it IMHO. If the company I worked for was bad or the people were bad I would have considered it more than I did, but you can't have everything.
DH is a car salesman. He LOVES his job. He also is blessed with working for a GREAT dealership. Family owned & operated. Great guys.
We're both blessed for working with great people - great family companies.

I'm a software application administrator for a large company here on the Island. It pays the bills. We are being acquired and there is some concern about who's getting laid off, so right now I love my job!
My husband is in construction and hates his job.
I feel like if I loved my job that my life would be so much better, as would his. Well, we'd be happier people. That's not to say we're miserable, but if we got satisfaction from our lives as a whole, I think things could be even better.

I was in public accounting for two years and just got out. I hated it most of the time. I did work with great people and the pay was okay (not great though, considering I have my MBA). I just took a job as a financial analyst at a Research / Teaching Hospital. I am hoping I grow to LOVE working there (I start on Monday!).
DH is a police officer, and most of the time he loves it.

I work as a greeter for Virgin Holidays. Right now I'm tempting but I love working at the airport. I have seen a few celebrities so far.
My husband works in maintenance for a law firm.
I'm going back to school next year to finish my associate's and then continue on to my bachelor's in Fashion Merchandising.
My ideal job is to own a clothing company especializing in maternity clothes for petite woman.
after I graduate, I would love to be a buyer.

I'm a speech pathologist, but a SAHM for the time being. I love working with the kids and the job can be very rewarding. I also love the flexibility because now that I have DS I'm thinking of working PT in the future.

I am a nurse for a non-profit outpatient psych treatment center. I love my job... I travel to see patients in their home to bring them their medication/therapy/injections.
Could def. pay better, but I like that it's non-profit!
DH works for a company and is their network engineer and also owns his own company that is starting to get off the ground :)

I was a high school dean last year and hated it. Now I am a counselor again and love it.
My DH is in sales- he likes his current job but isn't fond of his profession. He would like to win lotto and start a mentoring program for teens

High School teacher. No, I no longer love it.
For matters of self-preservation, I leave my job at my job. I don't allow it to stress me out nor do I "emotionally" carry around kids problems.
My Dad had a stroke from stress at age 57. I'm not letting the same happen to me.
