We have the inflatable tub - it fits right in your tub or you could even use it on the counter. Jesse loves it (he doesn't like the regular tub). Everyone sells them - BRU, BBB, etc.
Isn't a pain though to inflate all the time? Or do you keep it permanently inflated?
We have the same inflatable tub and Andrew used it in the big tub from about 8 months until he was 20 months. Worth it IMO! I inflated it once, then just hung it on the side of the tub to dry each time we finished with it (it has a suction cup attached to it for this). Since we have a separate shower for him, it was not a problem just keeping it inflated in the tub for him.
We had the same tub for Andrew initially and when he outgrew it we switched to the inflatable one. Like Trish, we just leave it inflated and leave it to the side (we can't use the suction hook) when not using it.
Same here - we actually have it hanging on the shower doors. My avatar is a photo of Jesse in his tub.

Re: Bathtub question for bigger babies
We are having the same problem. Emily is barely fitting in her tub now -- so I know we have to get either the inflatable one or the seat soon.
My SIL uses and LOVES the inflatable one. My question is, can I use it if Emily can't sit up on her own yet? I was considering the safety 1st seat one for that reason, but the inflatable one just looks more comfy to me as long as its okay if she can't sit up. If it's not, then I'll go with the seat. I don't know how snug the inflatable one, she can sit up now with some support.

Re: Bathtub question for bigger babies
Even though Kevin as big for it - I used his baby tub (in the real tub) until he could sit up decently (around 6months or so). Once that happened I switched to the inflatable tub which I love. It is cushiony and when they are little you can still lay them back - just don't fill it too much. I am considering moving him now at a year to the real tub.

Re: Bathtub question for bigger babies
We have been using the inflatable tub for Claire since she was about 7 months old and was able to sit up. She is 14 months now and we will still be using it for a while. I love it because it is cushiony if she moves around and it is easy to wash her hair when she leans back onto the side. I think it cost like $12.99 at babies'r'us

I would just transition to a real bath. How many baths do we need to buy babies when we have a perfectly good one in our bathroom.
