Ahhh, grunge. The most overused term in music until the word "alternative". I was and always will be a HUGE Nirvana fan.  Poor Kurt Cobain. I still remember the day they announced his death. It was a really painful thing to go through as a 14 yr. old kid.

I loved Jane's Addition, Living color, NIN, and Faith no more. I don't know if I would call them grunge though. Would you?
I was never really that into Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, STP, or Soundgarden. Although, I did see STP perform with Bjork once. I saw Bjork and left after the first STP song.

Well, NIN was industrial, Jane's Addiction, I would say was a world of their own Perry Farrell sat naked on my blanket at his ENIT festival back in 1996 when we were there to see Porno for Pyros, and they ended up doing a whole bunch of Jane's Addictions songs. Oh the memories!
Living Colour is actually considered funk, I believe. I never got into Pearl Jam, although they were good live, and I hate STP and Soundgarden. However, I loved Alice in Chains.
I'll tell you, I hate the music that is out now. I still listen to the same music from when I was a kid because I have found hardly anything to compare to it.
