WOOHOO!!!!!! More are joining!!!!! welp for me for the first month I lost 15 lbs and 2 pant sizes and I was NOT strict at all either, for christmas and new years I went so off. yippy I can fit into my 10 jeans again and they are loose! Im gonna keep going to get back to my size 6 , thats what I was for years and what my wardrobe is too, I cant wait to slip on those pants again! I have them hung up on the back of my door in my bedroom and I look at them a lot to give me the drive for daily success!!!!! and then I I get PG! It should be easy to maintain the weight, I go to the gym at least 3 days a week and do the treadmill at home daily.

Re: THE OFFICIAL..... NUTRISYSTEM .....thread
Good Luck CarrieAnn and MrsTC aka Jen I hope you guys do really well!
Scott ... I personally cannot stand the eggs for breakfast.... but my DH loves them. You will soon find out that everyone's tastes are really different, and you sort of just have to play around with things to figure out what you like best. ALSO on the N/S website, there are post on the chat boards wehre people "doctor up" foods with N/S friendly foods to make them taste better... for example, some people will add veggies or low-fat cheese to the eggs to make them more edible..
Someone asked the 'average' for weight loss... I started exactly on September 26, 2005, and to date have lost 34 pounds... so I would say I've been averaging approx. 7-10 pounds a month (of course in the beginning it was FLYING off.. now its slowed down considerably.. I've hit a plateau lately, been the same weight for the past 2-3 weeks... but at least I didn't gain anything around the holidays either!)
First week alone I lost 8 pounds!! Since then, I tend to lose an average of anywhere from 1-3 pounds a week.. sometiems I stay the same.. as long as I don't gain its all good!
Good luck all!

Good luck to all of you!!
Donna !!! AWESOME weight loss for your first week!! WAY to GO!!
JC sounds very very similar to the N/S plan, it seems structured the same way, so please post all you want on this thread.. we can all use the support

Re: THE OFFICIAL..... NUTRISYSTEM .....thread
www.nutrisystem.com
I have been on the plan since monday, and so far I love it. It is so easy. They give you all the food, and a food planner, and also you have access to their website, where they have a forum, you can ask questions...etc.
I have been eating all of the food, plus fruits, veggies, salad etc...and drinking all my water. I feel great Scott

Re: THE OFFICIAL..... NUTRISYSTEM .....thread
Our Nutrisystem order came yesterday so I think we are planning on starting this weekend. That was a lot of stuff to unpack.
I am kind of excited to start and am hoping by the spring or summer I will be down a size or 2 and @ my normal weight.
I'll let you know what I think once we are started but it looks easy enough.
Good luck to all of you battling your weight.

Re: THE OFFICIAL..... NUTRISYSTEM .....thread
Hi my name is Kim...I have been on nutrisystem almost 3 weeks. at my 2 week mark I had lost 6 pounds... I have been reading your thread & you guys are awesome! I feel much in common with so many of you. when I started I wanted to lose 42 pounds...but truth I could go for 10 more than that too. I am TTC also...have many fertility issues. promised myself if I wasn't pregnant by new years I would start this diet...so I started on the first. I look forward to getting to know you guys & seeing how all our weight loss is going. I will check back frequently & look forward to learning more each day. p.s. I'm loving most of the foods too.

Re: THE OFFICIAL..... NUTRISYSTEM .....thread
My first month was $274 I picked my own food on line I had a $15 coupon and I have auto delivery. Originally the plan was $324
Think about the price - cut it down You are getting 4 weeks of food plus 1 week free to total 5 weeks. That comes out to $10 a day without the free week They give you breakast, lunch, dinner and a dessert. All you will need to buy is skim milk, fruits, and veggies, yogurt, fat free cheese, etc....
I know that my wife and I spend about $130 to $150 a week on groceries, and meat for the week, then I spend about $30 on breakfast and lunch at work, and she spends probably around the same. She also goes to WW - and that is $12 a week plus all the ww food she buys at WW.
So if you add all that up, it costs more than joinging Nutri system, even if both you and your DH join, you will be saving money
Right now only I am doing NS - Danielle is doing well on WW Scott

Re: THE OFFICIAL..... NUTRISYSTEM .....thread
Marissa .. I'm doing NutriSystem as well.. I've been on it since the end of September and so far, so good
Scott explained the costs well. Honestly when you add everything up, the cost isn't as bad as it seems. Our grocery bill is SO MUCH LESS than it was (substantially less) so it really does balance itself out. And I save money not having to buy breakfast/lunch during the workweek
if you have any specific questions, feel free to FM me

but you wouldn't have to spend 300-400/month on groceries bc about 90% of your food for the month would come in your shipment...you'd only have to buy salad, fruit and veggies! You can order and then have your DH wait a few days - then e-mail the rep and they will give you a "referral" discount code....also, try this promo code: BHG106 to get a week's worth of free food!!
BTW, today was day one for me...DO NOT get the lemon poppyseed muffins..I literally gagged and threw it out. I had the frosted flakes for b-fast, they were good, the ham and bean soup for lunch with a salad I made - good, and the pizza for dinner - good!

Its $274 for the first month if you have auto delivery and the $15 off coupon Then its $289 after that If you cannot afford that, then you can order from QVC. They have the month package with no weekends. Not sure how much it costs, but I think it was under $200. Or you can try EBAY - I think the guys name is fitnesshappens - He sells a lot of NS food - and he only charges $4.99 for shipping. He sells a one month of favorites for $200 to $225 - depends on the bidding. Scott

When you go out to dinner - Have a big salad, get grilled chicken, or broiled chicken, or grilled fish.....Eat Healthy. Have Steamed Veggies Ask for no butter or oil You can have a potato but make it a sweet potato. If you have bread, or rice, make it brown rice or whole wheat
Cut your meal in half - take half home
Try Applebees. They have the weight watchers menu. We went there the other night and I had the french onion soup with low fat melted cheese on top - and the grilled Talapia with mango salsa on the side and mixed veggies. It was yummy and healthy. Scott

Re: THE OFFICIAL..... NUTRISYSTEM .....thread
Thanks for all the info...
I think Im just gonna join and let DH fend for himself
Im gonna look into...ebay and QVC though... just in case they have a better deal
What about if when your home??? If you splurge have some candy or ice cream...does it really set ya back? I did WW before I got preggo (was very successful on that) and always worked my points in... With the baby now...I dont even know what day it is...let alone have time to calculate points...
I wanna lose these 10-15 preggo lbs, and Im really interested in this....but I know I need my candy fill once and awhile
