Pregnancy and Bridesmaid dress
Okay, here is my situation. I am in my BF wedding in December. I just found out that I am PG.
The problem is, we already ordered the dresses from DB and they have been in for the past few weeks. I haven't gone to pick mine up as of yet.
This is my question. For those of you who are about 4 months PG, how big did your little tummy get?
I am wondering if I should just ask to exchange my dress for 2 sizes larger and just alter it to how big I will be by December or just get a maternity dress. I dont like DB maternity dresses and I dont really think I will be that big to fill one out. I want to look nice for my BF wedding. I am her matron of honor.
Any suggestions

Re: Pregnancy and Bridesmaid dress
I am MOH for a wedding in 2 weeks. I ordered my dress and found out I was pregnant 3 weeks later. I am 4 months with my 3rd child and when I tried on the dress 2 weeks ago it still fit I was so I have my first fitting 10 days before the wedding where they are just going to lift the skirt of the dress to give me more room since it was a little snug.
If you are 4 months with your 1st child I wouldn't worry about it. You may want to go in there as soon as the dress comes in to make sure it is going to fit and to see if they need to order more fabric but I think ordering a bigger size isnt necessary.

Thank you
First of all, pg for the 3rd time. Congrats
This is my first child. So maybe I will go into DB since my dress is in and see if it is at all possible to just order more fabric. The dress fits me well right now with no problem. But I am just nervous if I gain a little weight by December. I dont want to look like a tight sausage in a red apple dress

They will be able to order more fabric. I was lucky, my dress was snug and they just took it out a little and it was perfect.

Honestly, at 4 months, it's likely you'll still fit into the dress you ordered. I wore my pre-preggo jeans to my 20 week sono. As long as it's not too fitted around the waist, it will probably work.

Re: Pregnancy and Bridesmaid dress
I was in a wedding party at 5 months and popped just around that time. They actually totally know what they are doing. They upped my dress a bit. I guess my belly became part of the upper thigh area. The dress looked great!

Re: Pregnancy and Bridesmaid dress
I had the same thing happen - the dress was a little snug in the tummy they were able to take it out.
They also told me when I called concerned that they would be able to order fabric and add to it if necessary (thankfully it wasn't)
