I am HIGHLY allergic to gold.. Go figure.. and had to get my earrings SURGICALLY removed when i was young... I am petrified of that wiht my little one, but I love the way they look..I think we will experiment with a bracelet and/or necklace before we consider earrings!

IMO I don't like seeing babies with their ears pierced, just doesn't look right to me. I had mine done in thrid grade and if i have a little girl I will wait until she is at least in third grade or so to have them done.
Me too. I don't see anything wrong with it, it's just a personal preference that I'lll make Amber wait for.

I had mine done at 3 years old and my mother said I cried and pulled on them and wanted them out. sO I didn't want to do that to amrissa but I wanted her ears done I did them as soon as the doctor told me I could.
