Blue Rooms
Anyone have any pictures of Blue rooms? I'm specifically looking for a darker blue or slate blue. TIA!

that is one of the colors I am considering ...
We are considering changing our bathroom a little. We have a B&W hexagon floor and we want to add wainscotting ... do you think slate Blue will look OK (with the B&W floor)?

Re: Blue Rooms
We were originally looking at either BM Santorini Blue or Van Cortlandt blue for our bathroom - we have a b&w hexagon floor - but decided to go with more of an aqua blue (BM Tranquil Blue).
I think the slate blue would look great with the b&w floor...I was just caught up on the grey in the slate blue and thus having a white, black and grey bathroom

I completely understand that ... After our "put your sunglasses on" yellow experiment as I like to call it, I'm looking for something more streamlined like black/white/gray/blue.
Now next question .. for the wainscotting ... Should it be white white (to match the floor, fixtures and tub) or could I do a more creamy white/ivory?
I love the look of slate blue/ivory but I don't know if it would mesh well with the all-white fixtures ....

Re: Blue Rooms
Definitely white-white.
We have so many different whites in our bathroom and while it's hard to match them up (like every white bathmat made my floor look off-white) I still like the look of the white wainscotting.

Re: Blue Rooms
We're doing wainscotting, with a black and white tile just like yours and the color paint I have (and will still paint the new bathroom because I love it) is BM soft chinchilla.

What color is soft chincilla? Is that a gray?

No, it's a blue gray, but definitely a blue - like a wedgewood blue. Check here on my favorite website...BM Personal Color Viewer

Re: Blue Rooms
My husband picked my sons room. It is the most beautiful blue I have ever seen. I love it, and I'm not much of a blue person. Sorry I don't know how to post pic, but if you go to my mlsli listing you can see it. We closed on our new house esterday & are using the same paint in his new room too. It especially looks sooo good with white trim.

I never was a blue room person until Suzan posted her home for sale on here a couple of months ago. I haven't been able to get it off my mind since!
