Welcome back!! So funny that you are thinking of an Italian honeymoon instead of Hawaii. DH wanted to go to Hawaii and I wanted to go to Italy and I am SO glad that I convinced him. I told him that we could spend a few days in Capri to have a relaxing resort-like atmosphere. It was the best vacation I have ever been on and I would go back there in a heartbeat. Nothing will ever compare.
My brother is getting married next month and he and his FW argued over Hawaii vs. Italy (he wanted Italy) and he lost because her parents have a time share in Hawaii that they can use. I can see already that he is jealous that I went and it might be a while before he gets there.
Honeymoon in Italy, definitely!! Your FH will thank you!
