This thread is cracking me up!
I LOVE Lost, its probably my favorite show in years.. and I know that this season is going to be fantastic 
Did anyone watch the "extra's" on the DVD set of the 1st season? Some interesting stuff there , at least I thought so
And Red you can have Jack, but Moe Moe SAWYER is ALL MINE

Red, did you have any time to watch the extras they had on the DVD set? Do you konw that originally, the creators of the show never had any intention of keeping Jack on the show.. they were going to kill off his character in the 2nd episode!! Isnt that weird!
And Matthew Fox also read for the role of SAWYER

I know!! I have the complete set of the DVDs, so if you ever want the extra let me know.. the extra's are funny, and the producers /creators give you a lot of insight into the show and how they came up with the ideas
Yes in the original scripts, all along Jack was going to be killed off in that 2nd episode.. the one where they find the pilot in the plane and then Jack disappears (the 'creature' chases him) and remember when you see the pilot dead in the tree, THat was actually supposed to be JACK
And the were looking to perhaps cast MIchael Keaton in the Jack role, because it was only for a couple episodes, but then they decided to keep Jack and Keaton did not want to do a series, so they auditioned YOUR DH Matt Foxx
