But when the son was making the dinner tray and the mom said did you remember the butter, didnt he say something like I've been doing this for years? So they must have had him prisoner for that long?

Last night's show was so good. I also can't wait to find out who they have locked up in the basement.

I think it is the son's real mother. Something that Alfre's character said made me think that she was not his biological mother. I know that Oprah shot some episodes, so I think it is Oprah playing the mom's sister and the son's mother.

I got that feeling too. The "well raised" comments were a little weird - I don't think she's the real mother! Although the hands did look white, so I'm not so sure it was Oprah.

I think its the dad. The mom made a comment that he is lucky to have a son like you. But then again, maybe she said "she"... so it could be his mom. Then who would the new neighbor be? His girlfriend? That's quite an age difference, but with this show- you never know???
