Hi Everyone...We are home from the hospital with our Son!!!
I wish to announce with pride the birth of our son Matthew Thomas. He was born Sunday morning at 2:41 am by C-Section and he weighed 6lbs 12 1/2 ounches and is 20 inches long. He is beautiful and I am in Love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My birth story:
What a horror! Well it all started with some light AF cramps I was feeling on Saturday. Then they started picking up by late afternoon and I told my husband that I just didn't feel right so we went to the hospital so I can get checked out. When I got there and they evaulated me they said I was already 3.19 cm dialated by my water had never broke. So they admitted me and the fetal heartrate wasn't that good cuz they said the baby wasn't moving around cuz he was probable sleeping. Then he started moving around and that's when they let me walk around. Every hour I would dialate another Centimeter then at 6 it stopped and by then I got the epidural. Getting that was PAINFUL!!!! OMG!!! The needle wasn't going in right the first time and I was screaming my head off. Poor DH had tears in his eyes watching me suffer. Finally they got it but I was still feeling the contractions and at that point they were giving me pitocin as well. I was crying and screaming "why isn't the epidural working"...At this point it was around 9:45 in the evening. Then they saw that the baby was facing sunny side up with his head tilted upwards and at 1:45 am the doctor made the final decision to do the c-section. The procedure was not bad. The recovery is not easy, but I have to take it one day at a time. In the end we have a beautiful baby boy. DH said the sweetes thing to me. He said that the love he has for me now is even stronger than ever. Your relationship changes for the better.

When dr. came to give me epi they made DH leave. It must of been so hard to have him see you in pain.
