Re: Pizza Baking Stone

Exciting! I can't believe the response my post received Chat Icon

Anyway, the only reason I asked if it was safe is because:
1) I purchased a no-frills one. (IE: NOT a Pampered Chef one.)

2) It seemed extremely abbrasive and I was thinking that I would get pieces of stone in my pizza. Chat Icon

But I threw caution to the wind and used it anyway.

The pizza came out beautiful and crispy and just DE-LISH.

Thanks everyone Chat Icon Chat Icon

I got one for my shower but I still haven't used it, because we haven't had the room to store a lot of things - I can't wait to use it now! Chat Icon

Re: Pizza Baking Stone

I have the pampered chef one- and I love it! I make all kinds of pizza with it! I also bought the rack for it, which slides under the stone and has handles so its easier to get out of the oven!

Re: Pizza Baking Stone

I have the pampered Chef rectangular stone tray and it does make cookies come out awesome. I used it for the first time to make a pizza the other week, and it came out really good. My cousin is a consultant, so for my shower she gave me a bunch of of pampered chef stuff becuase she loves it so much. It really is great!
