Is your company open on Monday July 3rd?
What industry do you work in if open?
I work in the photo industry and we are open but I took a vacation day.
DH works for a web retailer and they are still waiting to hear if they have the day off.

my company is closed--I work for Viacom/MTV
DH is open--he works in the construction union
Daycare is actually open that day, which I was shocked about...

My company will be open but I am taking the 3rd off because my brother is getting married I am going to take the entire week off also and I cant wait this will be the 1 time since I been back to work from maternity leave that I will have an entire week with my daughter

Nope closed, and being as the company did so well this past year we were given 4 extra vacation days to take this summer that are in addition to our standard vaca/sick days.

We're off - they are calling it an "associate holiday". I work in the corporate HQ of an apparel company.
DH is working. He works for a national commerical landscaping company.
