Not really. He just listens. I would like him to agree with me sometimes and when he doesn't agree or disagree I feel like he is not listening.

No. Well let me explain. He doesn't do as good of a job as my Mom or my Best Female Friend but it isn't for lack of trying. It was just how he was raised. It's the same way when I am sick.

Depends on what I'm upset about. If I'm upset at him, then no, not really  . If I'm upset at somebody/something else, then he's wonderful at comforting me.

ETA: you would think the man has learned a thing or two after almost 6 yrs together

VERY! I thank God he got his mother's personality.
We've only been married since July and we sold one house, completely renovated another, lived with Il's for 4 months and are battling infertility issues for months... needless to say I've been upset on more than one occassion He's the best... better than some of my girlfriends.

Yes, he really is...He knows when I need a hug and when I need chocolate!
I'm pretty easy though, because generally the solution is a hug or chocolate, and he covers all the bases by giving me both!

He's the best hugger in the world, but not a great comforter. Usually he can't see why I'm upset about something. However he went to the cardiologist yesterday, and claims they said he does have a heart after all.

It depends. However, when I'm upset, I usually don't want anyone to comfort me, even him; I'd rather be alone to write and sort out my feelings.
