I offically hate target

I went to pick up some household stuff today, and while i was there decided to browse the childrens sect.

Well- they had all of maybe six outfits for boys... EVERYTHING was for girls!!!!

They had a nice selection of 2t and up for boys (and even bigger selection for girls- of course)
and nothing for infant boys.... I was so mad!

I've noticed this too! The girls' section is always bigger, no matter what store you go in, but for some reason, in Target, it's a drastic difference!

Believe me, its not just Target. Its all over. 1 rack for boys, 20 for girls..... Its so hard to find Andrew a nice outfit for Easter with such limited selections everywhere!!

I completely agree. Specially seeing as though I have one boy and one girl, already.

My Motto for boys clothes is either sweats or ultra preppy. Either monster trucks or Spiderman.

I still like Target though. Such cute basics for shorts and shirts.Chat Icon

I agree, I can only find the basics there not much of anything else.

Thankfully I like to shop so with mixing and matching I manage to put something together, but its hardly ever 1 outift from 1 store.

Try H&M they seemed to have more for boys if you like the style and I always have great luck at the Gap.

Lucky you guys...no H&M here. Chat Icon I, personally, can't spend the money at Gap or Gymboree like I would like.

I am a big fan of Gymboree for girls, but for toddler boys not so much.

If by carriage accessible you mean that while I am browsing Aidan is pulling every single item of clothing off the racks and shelves, then yes mine is carriage accessible! Chat Icon

yes I shop the Gap outlet and sales racks, only if I've "got to have it" will I pay full price for anything! Chat Icon

I feel like all the rack are so close together, I cant even get through...

HELLOOOO this is a BABY STORE- Moms (or dads) and there Baby (which equals strollers) need to be able to comfortable walk through here!

I think that is every store! I never thought I'd become "one of those mom's" that complains and swears (ok, not really) outloud about having kids section and not being able to fit through with a double stroller. Yes, it gets worse with more... Chat Icon

I have to say, Gymboree is very neat here. Just like CP and Gap. Chat Icon I do have to agree, Gap outlet has some awesome deals, when you catch them. Chat Icon

Still, a girl you can practically walk in anywhere in find *something* whether inexpensive or pricier. Chat Icon

Everything I love in Target for girls are all toddler sizes. (to big for my girls)

Children's place has cute Easter outfits for boys IMO

Thats every store!! It frustrates me so much. My best friend and I are toying with the notion of opening a baby boy boutique

Re: I offically hate target

Which Target do you shop in? I go to the Hicksville one and that's where I buy the majority of Andrew's clothes! I never even look at the girls stuff -- so maybe there is a lot more of it, but I always leave with a basket full of clothes!

I got Andrew's easter outfit from Children's Place and I thought they had cute stuff as Tracy mentioned!

Marissa I don't like Gymboree for the same reason. You cannot even get into the store without knocking over some clothing. There is no room to move around in that store.Chat Icon

It definitely is, especially since statistically, more boys are born than girls.
