Anyone been to the Bronx Zoo lately?
DH and I are thinking about going this weekend. I haven't been there since I was a kid 
how is it these days?

I was there in Jan of this year. And even though some areas were closed because it was off season, we still had a nice time. I would definitley go back again.

Not since last May. If you haven't been in years, you might be surprised at how expensive it is, but it's worth it.
The Congo exhibit is extra $, but worth it if you've never been. We don't go everytime though.
You may want to check the website befor eyou go if you are looking for something specific, b/c certain things open at different times early on in the season.
Last year there a new wild dogs exhibit but it wasn't open yet when we were there, but they moved some things around because of it.

I went a few weeks ago and I had a BLAST!
I loved it. I think by now everything is open. For $25 you can get unlimited admission to all of the extras like congo, skyfari, asia monorail and the butterfly garden. We did all of those except for the monorail which wasn't open yet and they were all worth it.
We puichased the Individual Premium admission for $90 which includes unlimited park admission for a year for two people, unlimited "extras" like the congo, etc, and 4 parking passes. (This is also good at the Conesy Island Aquarium, the Central Park Zoo, the Queens Zoo and the Proispect PArk Zoo)
IF you have kids, the fmaily premium is I believe $125. I think it's worth it. I LOVE the zoo. My favorite was the Skyfari. It's so peaceful up there. I could ride that thing back and forth all day!!!!
Definitely bring walking shoes and check the website for events.
I was just saying that as soon as my foot gets better I am going to the zoo!!!
