Port Jefferson Village Restaurants/ideas??
DH and I are spending the weekend at a b&b in port jeff... what are the best restaurants there? Maybe something on the water for one of the nights? Also, what else is there to do there?

Danford's is on the water. I've never eaten there, but I have heard good things. I also like the Printer's Devil, not on the water, but good! There's tons of bars that have live music at night, pretty good shopping, too.

Re: Port Jefferson Village Restaurants/ideas??
Printers devil is closed- there is a new italian resturant there- it was pretty good
I like Paces- not on the water- but a great steak house
the village way is close to the water
the steam room is great for lunch-
there is only one other resturant besides danfords on the water- I can't think of the name
and toast is great from breakfast

Definitely go to Pasta Pasta! Best restaurant in PJ (in my opinion)
I guess you can go to Danford's for the other. If I remember correctly we've been there a few times and we didn't think it was anything special. They have a sunday brunch which seems like a good deal, maybe you should try that out?

Re: Port Jefferson Village Restaurants/ideas??
I may be the only one who does not like Pasta Pasta. Salsa Salsa is good mexican--but it is more of a take out kinda place. And Toast is GREAT!
Elk Street Grille is an option, it is right on main street.
Printer's Devil closed, wow, that was always a great fall back!
