I used to love it when I was younger, My mom would give me a blank check and I'd go do the shopping for the household, getting whatever I want. Now though, that I am out on my own with my own family, I hate it. I hate going alone and having to carry the heavy bags up a flight of stairs and trying to find a place to put everything.

I love it especially when DH is with me...I go up and down the aisles chatting away, singing songs, goofing off. Probably annoying to others but DH gets a kick out of it!

I dont mind it! What I do hate about it is the deli line! There's Always a line! I always go and get that done first. I think next time I will try the "deli express". They prepare your order while you shop.
Im also a "coupon" person so it will take me a little longer, but always love to see how much I saved.

Hate the price! Hate the old people who can't drive their carts, the little kids who steer carts into the ankles, people who don't move their carts, loading up the car, bringing 700 bags into the house and then PUTTING IT ALL AWAY!!!

I like it, but I like it better when it's a small trip. Since we have a Waldbaum's right across the street, I usually walk there for a small shopping trip every other day. It's the big trips where I have to take the car or go to a different store that I don't like as much.

I call DH when I pull in the parking lot and he must come down and get the bags...we live upstairs so its too much, plus he wont go food shopping, so his job is the bags...I will even leave soda and heavy stuff in the car till he gets it...

I enjoy it. Especially when their are little sample carts. I'll walk up and down every aisle looking for sample stuff 
Though I always end up leaving with a lot more then I had on my list

I don't mind it....since we are buying a house and there is no more clothes/shoe shopping I know I am going to start loving it!!!
I always forget stuff and have to go back the next day

Same here and spend just as much..
example- Food shopping DONE in full Saturday night...Oh about $75...then last night ran out to Waldbaums to get some fruit for work..Well another $70 Later

Im the same way! Once im there, i'm fine, but i NEVER want to go, and DH has to basically drag me, kicking and screaming... literally he tends to do more of it himself, but we go together alot. we live on the second floor too, so he does the trips from the car to the stairs, and i run everything up the stairs. then with unpacking, i take everything out of the bags and hand it to him and he puts it away (like all the fridge stuff, then the cabinet stuff). i suppose its not that horrible, but i hate the *idea* of having to go there.
