hey, it is hard to land a "good" bartending gig... especially for females. you do what it takes to let the appropriate parties i.e. the owner- know you are interested in bartending..
i dont think she intentionally went over your heads but i understand where you are coming from. like dj said, it is a catty businesss.
ive been in it for too long... but i still go back to it

youre right. i dont think it was intentional either.... but she is brand new and i dont know her that well so maybe she was. who knows.
we actually find it funny though b/c she has zero experience yet thinks she can weasel her way into that spot. i hope she doesnt hold her breathe though.
ahhhhh the bar scene! lol
