just from my sister in law (his brother's wife). usually get a card from MIL but i dont even get an acknowledgement from his other bro and his FW

She's lucky she gets that! I have never gotten anything for any of my in-laws (mil, fil, sil, bil).

you should see what a big deal the FW's bday is. she emailed me the week after ignoring mine to invite me to her bday party 2 mos away

I get a gift from my MIL, usually, but not from my SILs. They are not in a financial position to be giving gifts like that anyway so I would actually feel bad if they got me something. They do send me cards every year though and call which is more than some of my "closer" friends do and that's more than enough for me.

Actually, no with the exception of his stepmother (his father recently passed).. I doubt his mother or his 3 sisters even know when my birthday is!
