248-27 Jamaica Avenue (AKA Jericho Turnpike)
Bellerose, NY 11426

From South Shore you can take southern state pkwy to Cross Island Parkway (on the right)(towards whitestone bridge to be specific but you only have one choice -belt parkway or cross island) You will only be on the cross island for about 2 .5miles. Take exit 27 Jamaica Avenue/Jericho Turnpike. Make right at the light (Jamaica/Jericho) and the diner is 1/4 mile on the left.
Sorry for the Jamaica/Jericho confusion but this is right on the border. In Queens its Jamaica, Nassau its Jericho.

I feel like the kid who cried wolf, or the kid who cried "I'll be there".
I will have to cancel. It's a little hike for me coming from Suffolk and I would like to stay and chat for a long while, but I just can't. Too little time on the weekend...

Suzy - where do you live -I'm in Medford, maybe we could carpool or maybe we could go to a diner in Nassau.
The Townhouse Diner on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow is good and it's pretty centrally located - right off the Meadowbrook Parkway.

Pauline needs to change the title to "G2G for Those who cannot make the Other G2G!" LOL
All I know is that I better get on my Flight tomorrow! Like I said previously, we've never had a problem catching flights on standby. I have to get there for my cult meeting. LOL I overheard my DH talking to his mother and saying that during my visiting to LI, I have plans to meet up with my Cult. LOL

Eta- I may backout. Not because I havent been DREAMING of a nice big old diner breakfest ALL week, but its really kinda far for me to drive...and I get a little car sick lately , especially in the morning.

Yes we are but not until 2pm. So...I would drive to Floral Park, home and back to NHP. But that's fine, we can still meet at the Triple Crown.
