As someone who once had hair that long and then chopped it off even shorter I must say you don't seem 100% positive about it. It is a drastic cut and I know some stylists don't like to take that much off in one session.
I'd suggest you cut it off in stages, maybe just under your shoulders for now, wait a month and then go back and get the rest done.
It will feel very weird at first. I remember whipping my head around... being used to all of the added hair weight and almost giving myself whiplash
You have gorgeous hair.

If you decide to go a little above your shoulders with long layers, I think that would look nice. And it's not too extreme.

Kelly looks good.
My wife would never chop her hair like that. 2-3 inches max for her.

I guess your wife learned her lesson. As long as Bri is happy thats all that matters to me. Its her hair, and she'll look beautiful in my eyes regardless of the haircut.
