Hello all I am back on after moving into my new home
which has been heck! we already had our first problem the lady who we bought the house from she stayed in here for 1 extra night and she did laundry in our finished basement which had beautiful rugs and flooded out the basement! now we are fighting to get her to pay for the damages which she thinks that were NOT so bad Wrong we had to pull the rugs out and now we have cement floors and our washing machine needs to be replaced. but overall the house is gorgeous. i am glad to be back on but i am on a emotional rollerxoater from this diaster. I will be on but i have a lot going on now so i will be on and off from here I am glad to be back though.

what a fricken moron-- how did she manage to flood the basement AND break the washing machine?
Don't you get the keys at closing-- did she do this after you closed? You definitely have rights here..

yes my dear she did this a day after closing we got one set of keys after closing and she left the rest after she left she is now denying that she did this and i got this freakin feeling we are going to end up paying I am sooo upset i hope her insurance does cover it.

thank you! yea I think she did want to give us heck!oh and guess what her note was a maskintape that said washing machine started leaking saturday! we took pictures and all and we had the service master people here too now tomorrow we have the travelers coming to check it out!

Did you call your attorney? This is what they have escrow for. If not call your attonery ASAP!!! We found out the hard way and called our attorney too late when we found out our stove,stovetop and dishwasher were broken

yes we caled our attorney and according to him "he is taking care of it" We hope he is because We are not going to spend a pennie on this! now the lady from travelor is suppose to come over today at 3 pm and she is not here how reliable are some people i rushed home for what to sit on my butt!
