Yeah, I screwed up the car for sure!

Last night I bottomed out the Huyndai!

I bottomed out the Huydai! I was trying to catch a light, and went through the intersection pretty fast, and there was a HUGE bump in the road.

We took the car to Minakee today to see what was wrong with it. They were nice enough to crawl under the car and check it out for us. He told us that I cracked the exaust manifold. It is really loud now, and I am scared to drive it. Luckily, there is a recall on the car for the exaust manifold that we haven't gotten to do yet because there was nothing wrong with it. Until last night.

Now we have two broken cars! DH is taking the Altima to the dealer on monday, because the check engine light keeps coming on! He's done some research and there is a major problem with the engines in the 2002 Nissan Altima's 2.5 liter engine. We have the 2002 Nissan Altima 3.5 liter engine, and all the same symptoms are happening, but the dealer refuses to check into it. They say that it is ONLY the 2.5's that have this problem, and it is "normal" to burn through 3 liters of oil in less than 3,000 miles! Yeah!

We need new cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wowo, I did the same thing yesterday trying to beat a light, Luckily, mine wasn't as bad as your, I just had some exhaust cover thing, that DH says isn't needed anyway, fall off!!

Hope things get better soon and you both get new cars!! At least you can get the exhast fixed through the recall for free!!

I can't believe someone else did the same thing!
I feel so bad about what I did, but now that I know that there is a recall for it, I feel better.

Wow...well if you need a Ford...let me know. My father is the manager of a Ford dealership and my DH works there too...
