Pls help settle debate
When registering I registered for a digital camera. My mom bought this gift for us at my shower.
So now we have a really good camera and we trashed our old broken one.
What should we do today? I have my good friends baby shower and he is spending a night with the guys. Who should get the camera?
We have this camera debate often about "who gets the camera?"

i say you get it...
but not because you registered for it, and your mom bought it...
but because of the type of event you're attending today...
there will be alot more memorable pics taken at the baby shower, than at a guys night out...jmo

Preshy gets it, but not just because she registered for it (those gifts were for BOTH of you, remember ) but because your event is more important than just taking pics of "the guys" which I'm sure wouldn't even happen...

Baby shower. Night out with the guys = expensive digital camera could get damaged.
Tell him he can get a redo on the night out with the guys with the camera.

its was unfixable unfortunatley. plus his mom purcahsed a digital camera for him 3 years agho, he lost it for 2 years, then broke it right afer he found it! so it doesnt even work!

I say he gets it because:
1. Other guys probably won't bring cameras meanwhile at the baby shower everyone will have cameras so you can get pics from others
2. If he takes the camera he has to promise to take LOTS of pics...because then you get to know exactly what went on at the boys night out

how often is this girl going to have a baby shower mel. i say you take it
he can always hang out with his friends again and take it then.
if he wants funny memories captured on the camera. tell them to practice this time this way when he has the camera the next time the pictures will come out perfect lmao

I think you should get it. Like people were saying, a shower is more memorable than a guy's night out. Besides, I'm sure you'll be way more responsible with the camera, especially if the guys are going to be drinking. To solve this problem, you take the camera and buy him one of those disposable cameras.....

My DH only takes pics when i remind him- so on a 'boys night out' he would never really think to take pics.
